Job DescriptionHealthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a X-ray technician to work in a medical facility located in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Pay Rate-
$68/hr
Shift:
1330-2300 Monday afternoon through Sunday afternoon
These positions are 7 on/7 off working 63 hours over 7 consecutive days & having the next 7 off.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture clear images of designated body areas.
- Follow physician orders to accurately position patients and equipment.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Process and review images to ensure quality and clarity.
- Keep detailed patient records and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret results and provide accurate diagnostics.
Requirements:
- A valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- BLS
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in radiologic technology, with specific experience in occupational health preferred.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of radiographic equipment and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
