Job Description
Our Direct client is seeking for an Epic Ambulatory Certified Analyst for a Full Time Permanent Opportunity. This is a REMOTE ROLE – with only once a quarter onsite in their NY Headquarters (Westchester) at your own expense – would only consider candidates located in NY/NJ/CT and PA.

The ideal candidate must have the Epic Optime Certification AND the Epic Anesthesia Certification 5+ years of strong EPIC Senior Perioperative (Optime, Anesthesia & Device Integration) installation of new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications as well as configuring application settings. Must be able to provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis
- On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the Medical Center hospitals and/or its' affiliates (on-site, rotational support) - RN, PA or clinical experience is a plus
The client will hire over a couple of MS Teams Technical Video Assessments.
This is a Full Time Role – W2 ONLY (No Sponsorship/C2C/Third Parties/Referrals) – no offshore resources - only local candidates residing in NY/NJ/CT and PA will be considered.
Salary Range: $120- $140k Based on Experience

We are seeking an EPIC Senior Perioperative (Optime, Anesthesia & Device Integration) Application Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications. Configure application settings
- Provide go-live and rollout support
- Interface with users/clients across the Health System. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality
- Mentor and guide Application Analysts
- Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate IT associates or the vendor to coordinate the modification
- Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users
- Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements
- Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solution
- Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system
- Create system specifications from user requirements
- Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications. Document all outcomes of testing
- Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support
- Participate in technical integration and interface build
- Write and maintain accurate and current documentation Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to users
- Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoring
- Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis

Required:
- EPIC Optime and Anesthesia certifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Nursing, Health Informatics, or a related field. Experience will be considered in place of a degree
- 5+ years of related clinical or business experience
- Experience with perioperative services industry, including Pre-Op, Post-Op, Intraoperative nursing care. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with significant nursing experience and a demonstrated aptitude for IT.
- Strong technical skills including Windows, UNIX
- Application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
- Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Technical understand of hardware, networking and servers
- Knowledge of device integration
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills.
- Must be adaptable in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities

- Device Integration knowledge
- Prior experience with Provation, and Epic Lumens
- Understanding of HL7 and other health related standards
- RN, PA or clinical experience is a plus
