Job Description:
The General laborer is an entry level position. The laborer is responsible for performing a variety of general landscape installation and maintenance tasks under direct supervision.
Essential Capabilities:
· Operate gas powered mowers, blowers, and string trimmers.
· Perform landscape bed preparation and cleanup using hand and power tools.
· Perform duties such as spreading of mulch or decorative stone, planting of trees, planting of shrubs and ornamentals under supervision.
· Shovel snow from walkways and apply salt to maintain them in a safe condition.
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Reports to work at the dedicated location and time each day.
· Follows direction from supervisors and management.
· Adhere to all company safety rules and guidelines.
· Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for advancement.
Requirements:
· One year minimum verifiable landscape company work experience.
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
· Highly motivated individual who is detail oriented.
· Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun fast paced environment.
· Able to work effectively with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
· Clean and professional appearance.
· Punctual and dependable.
