About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries and improve their physical function. Your primary objective will be to develop personalized rehabilitation programs that address the specific needs of each patient, ensuring they regain mobility and strength. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or sports medicine.
- Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as dry needling or myofascial release.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and overall wellness.
Skills:
The required skills in physical therapy and rehabilitation will be utilized daily as you assess and treat patients with various conditions. Your knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation will guide your treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to each patient's unique needs.
