Pride Health is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to support our client’s medical facility based in Providence, Rhode Island. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Position Overview:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care. The role involves both scrub and circulating nurse responsibilities, including preparation, execution, and evaluation of intraoperative care. This nurse will serve as a key member of the surgical team, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform continuous patient assessments with attention to cultural and physiological needs
Plan and manage care throughout the surgical process
Prepare the operative environment, ensure sterility of supplies, and assist with positioning
Monitor instruments and maintain sponge/needle counts
Administer medications and document care accurately.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years recent Operating Room experience (required)
Strong communication and team collaboration skills

3x12 Days (12 hrs) Day shifts only; facility open to both 3x12 and 5x8 formats

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
