Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site services from February 10, 2025, through April 25, 2025. This role supports students in grades 6-12 with a caseload of approximately 22 students. The schedule is five days per week, from 7:50 AM to 3:20 PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy techniques is a plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working within school systems
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) qualifications in healthcare or schools are also relevant
Location:
- On-site position located in Irvington, NY
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to student needs
