Job Title: Contracts Data Analyst

Department: Contracts Department

Reports To: Manager, Contracts

FLSA Status: Exempt, Non-Union/Non-Management

Summary: The Contracts Data Analyst will assist management with analyzing the operations of the Contracts department, reviewing, verifying, and reconciling data to resolve discrepancies. The Contracts Data Analyst will troubleshoot and provide technical support relating to the web-based system V3 and other Funds systems. The Contracts Data Analyst works with Contracts Specialists, Employer Services department, Billing and Collections department, Eligibility department, and all other departments within the Funds. The Contracts Data Analyst generates QA reports to analyze and track all contracts, work locations, employers, accounts, eligibility, and invoices. The Contracts Data Analyst will work closely with the Manager and Deputy Director of Contracts and Eligibility, as well as other functional process owners as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily, weekly, monthly high-level review of processed data via system generated reports to identify any discrepancies.
  • Timely investigate V3 user problems and identifies their source, determine possible solutions, tests and implements solutions.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Analyze and track all contracts, accounts, work location set ups in V3.
  • Ability to communicate technical information with non-technical personnel.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop Quality Assurance reports to locate issues.
  • Use quality assurance reports to notify business units of issues.
  • Report, track and resolve all technical and data issues, including the maintenance of all electronic reporting systems.
  • Develop reports and graphs for Management.
  • Assist Management in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Provide project coordination support for department initiatives.
  • Participate in project work assigned to the department.
  • May lead, guide and train staff in V3, ESS, Microsoft CRM, QlikView and other software used by Funds.
  • Handle employer-related issues and work with both managers and IT in facilitating deliverables.
  • Draft letters, emails, memorandums, coordinate with other departments on training and educational materials.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by Management.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Skill in the use of computers and related software applications such as Microsoft Work, QlikView, Excel (formula and functions), PowerPoint, Access, presentation software and web-based programs.
  • Must be able to work alone and within a team environment.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 4+ years of technical and/or analytical experience to drive data-informed decision making, streamline processes, and/or support cross-functional initiatives preferred.
  • Masters, BA/BS degree or 2-year associate degree preferred.
