Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Dental Assistant in Rochester, New York! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply today for consideration.
Type: Five-month contract, opportunity for extension
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
Pay: $21.00 to $22.00 an hour
Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant:
· Ensuring patients feel comfortable before, during, after dental treatment and trust is built with the patient.
· Guaranteeing the efficiency of the dentist and the dental department is increased in delivering quality oral health care.
· Assisting dentists during procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, by handing them instruments and providing suction.
· Maintaining patient records, including medical history and dental charting.
· Sterilizing dental instruments, treatment rooms, and surrounding work areas.
Qualifications for the Dental Assistant:
· Graduate of a recognized dental assistant school or any combination of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to do the work.
· Certified to take impressions
· Current BLS through AHA
· Infection Control Certification

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
