Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager
Location: Hybrid in NYC or LA (3 days onsite - Financial District, NYC or San Francisco, CA)
Salary: Up to $225k/yr DOE +Equity
Requirements: 5+ years of Software Engineering leadership & startup experience

The independent financial advisory industry is a $80T market in the US with little technological innovation comparted to the self-service market (Robinhood, Betterment, Wealthfront, SoFi, etc). For example, it often takes financial advisors three days to open client accounts and requires antiquated processes like faxing paper work! That's where we come in.
We are pioneering the first wealth tech data orchestration platform to help streamline financial workflows, enhance efficiency, and elevate the client experience for our customers. We're committed to innovation and excellence as we reshape the landscape of finance.
We're currently hiring a Sr. Engineering Manager to manage an experience and growing engineering team. We're looking for a servant leader & team facilitator who's passionate about scaling teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide our software engineers, fostering their growth and development.
- Technical Strategy: Define requirements, develop roadmaps, and prioritize feature development in alignment with product goals.
- Project Management: Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are on time and within budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, QA, and other teams to align on goals and deliverables.
- Technical Excellence: Promote best practices in software development, focusing on quality, scalability, security, and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and innovation within the team to optimize workflows and increase efficiency.
- Recruitment and Hiring: Participate in hiring processes to onboard top engineering talent.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering Leadership experience
- Proven experience scaling engineering teams, managing full hiring & onboarding lifecycle
- Experience managing, supporting, & coaching Engineers
- Experience owning execution of the tech team with the technical decisions/directions being driven by the team
- Start-upexperience (early-stage preferred)
- BONUS: Experience building fintech, APIs as a product or data orchestration products
- BONUS: Experience driving products related to fintech APIs, APIs as a product or data orchestration/management platforms
