Position: Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney
Location: New York, NY
Type: Full-Time, Hybrid scheduling - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Experience Level: 2–5 Years
Salary Range: $130,000 – $170,000
Overview:
A nationally recognized, full-service business law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its growing New York City office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented litigator to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse litigation caseload, including general liability, premises liability, commercial disputes, construction defect, insurance defense, and civil matters.

Handle all phases of discovery, including written discovery and depositions of parties and expert witnesses.

Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality legal service delivery.

Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in New York (New Jersey bar admission is a plus).

2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably across a broad range of matters.

Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent client service.

Experience in developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
