OVERVIEW

The Brodsky Organization offers intelligently designed apartments, many with breathtaking views, located in some of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The company has developed over 10,000 apartments in more than 85 rental, condominium and co-op buildings. The portfolio ranges from charming brownstones to renovated pre-war doorman buildings, to newly constructed high-rises with extensive building amenities. The neighborhoods span from West and Greenwich Village to Chelsea, Midtown West to Morningside Heights, and Midtown East to Carnegie Hill and Downtown Brooklyn, Prospect Heights, and Gowanus.


The Brodsky Organization is currently seeking an on-site Leasing Agent for a rental property located in The Village area. This is not a remote position.

Job Description:

  • Manage the leasing process from start to finish including:
    • Entering inbound leads into our CRM and responding to them.
    • Scheduling appointments based upon move-in date, via phone and email.
    • Conducting tours and working with prospects to find them their ideal home.
    • Following up with prospects until lease signing.
    • Gathering applicants’ data to submit for approval.
    • Coordinating move ins.
    • Answering leasing questions.
    • Be the leasing neighborhood expert and overall point of contact for new tenants until move in.
  • Conduct in-person tours, Facetime tours and Zoom tours.
  • Make pricing recommendations based upon feedback collected during apartment tours.
  • Be knowledgeable of comparative buildings in the area, and how we compare with pricing, amenities, and concessions.
  • Answer incoming calls, manage calendar appointments and other administrative duties.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with your colleagues to support the best prospect experience possible.
  • Be the tenants’ point of contact for renewal leases and achieve target pricing based on your building’s overall strategy.
  • Strong follow up and A+ writing skills necessary.

Attributes We’d Like to See from The Ideal Candidate:

  • Three years of residential leasing experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, strong diligence, and well organized to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills – both phone and in writing.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Consistent work history with excellent professional references.
  • Collaborative and initiative-taking with a positive disposition.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager, a plus.
  • Experience with Rentcafe, a major plus.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
  • Real Estate Salesperson License preferred but not required.

What To Expect from Us:

  • A work schedule that encourages a strong work life balance.
    1. Two consecutive weekdays off; weekends are required.
    2. Weekdays hours of 10 a.m. -6 p.m.
    3. Weekend hours of 11 a.m. -5 p.m.
