REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:\nMinimum Years of Experience: 1 year\nTraveler Experience: 1st timers are accepted\nLocals accepted (Y/N): No, must be >50 miles\nScrubs: any solid color\nSkills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post MI, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, Renal failure, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac drips, CVA, Seizure disorders, Substance Withdrawal, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Traction, Mastectomy, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac\nCerts: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS\n\nPREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: PALS, TCAR\n\nJOB DETAILS:\nRatios: 1: 3-5 for days and weekends; 1:3-6 for nights\nShift: 1845-0715 Nights; 36 or 48s\nRTO: 7 days MAX\nFloat Requirement: Yes\nWeekend Requirement: Every other\nFloat: may be floated to the corresponding sister units. West 2, West 3, and Observation unit are all sister units.\n\nPATIENT DIAGNOSES: PCU and MS Tele, Surgical pre and post; ENT, general Surgery, Trauma surgery, Ortho surgery. Overflow medical diagnosis patients. Rare Pediatric patient, Travelers not assigned unless experienced.\n\nSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: TCAR preferred\n\nSPECIAL EQUIPMENT: **Mixed acuity unit PCU, MS Tele and MS pts; REQUIRED: must have PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years. Ratios adjusted by acuity.\n\n\nUNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): EPIC, Pyxis and SBAR\n\nUNIT ORIENTATION: 12 hours\n\nTotal Hourly Pay Rate:\t $77.15 \t Per Hour \nOn W2(Taxable): \t $18.00 \t Per Hour \nStipend(Non-Taxable):\t $59.15 \t Per Hour \n\t\t\n\t\t\nWeekly Breakdown:\t\t\nWeekly Gross:\t $3,302.00 \t Per Week \nOn W2(Taxable): \t $936.00 \t Per Week \nStipend(Non-Taxable):\t $2,366.00 \t Per Week \n
