RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Pharmacist in New York, New York (10024). This is a 13-week Temporary to Permanent onsite role Pharmacist. The pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.

Position details:
Location: New York, NY 10024
Setting: 13-week Temporary to Permanent Pharmacist Specialty Pharmacy
Schedule: Monday Friday and every 7th Saturday. Pharmacy hours: Monday Friday 9:00am5:00pm, Saturday 9:00am2:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:
Interact with physicians and utilize reference material to gain information on customers and prescriptions and to resolve any issues that arise
Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescriptions orders, counseling patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation
Supervise all pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and pharmacy support staff
Ensure strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures
Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications
Fill prescriptions, verifying instructions from prescribing practitioners on the proper amounts of medication to dispense to patients

Requirements:
Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state of New York
Previous Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy experience required
Must have experience working with high volume (800+ prescriptions per day)
Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one spot

Working Conditions:
Constant standing or walking about is required
Manual dexterity is required for sustained periods

Salary: Up to $60/hour the rate is firm
