Job DescriptionDescription:

Summary: Responsible for managing and dispatching all service technicians and for overseeing front counter operations by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Responsible for checking the overnight machine and creating any needed service tickets.*

2. Prioritizes, evaluates, and schedules daily service calls.*

3. Responsible for having dispatch schedule prepared by 8:30AM to ensure technicians can leave the shop in timely manner.*

4. Communicates the weekly work schedule with technicians so they are aware of upcoming events.*

5. Updates service board by adding new service calls and marking finished service calls complete.*

6. Oversees technicians are monitoring part inventory levels so they are ordered in a timely manner.*

7. Receives packages that are delivered to plant.*

8. Monitors overtime for technicians and front counter associates.*

9. Coordinates and schedules all new customer installs with Sales Department, outside vendors, and customer.*

10. Tracks paid time off and vacation request to ensure schedule is properly covered.*

11. Verifies restaurant bulk CO2 leaks due to other vendors equipment have been repaired.*

12. Resolves customer concerns by properly identifying their problem and implementing the best solution.*

13. Plans and schedules training and educational seminars when needed.*

14. Monitors technicians as they complete each service call and confirms the call is complete and no further action is required.*

15. Tracks service calls that are considered billable and not covered under contract.*

Qualifications:

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and order processing systems.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
