Description

Our practice provides anesthesia services for a diverse case mix at White Plains Hospital and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the area. Recent enhancements include a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Labor and Delivery as well as a low frequency of overnight call.

Case Assignments
Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases. State of the art, brand new operating rooms.
Great variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro and ortho. No transplant cases and no trauma. Cardiac and young pediatrics cases covered by the cardiac and peds team. Plenty of opportunity to expand your regional anesthesia skills.
Shifts
8’s, 10’s, 12’s, and 14’s – other options may be available.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
