Job Description
We are seeking a full time or part-time on-site Licensed Massage Therapist at Farida Studio. The role will involve providing therapeutic massages, including body massages and treatments, such as scrubs and wraps. Modalities include cupping, pre-natal, hot stone, swedish and deep tissue.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State license as a Massage Therapist
- Experience in all massage techniques
- Knowledge of different massage techniques and their benefits
- Physical stamina: being able to perform massages for extended periods
- Maintaining ethics and professional conduct a must
- Ability to work well in a team and individually
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness center is a plus
- Specialized certificates such as lymphatic drainage a plus
Note:
All prospective hires will go through an in-person interview, followed by a hands-on practical in Studio.
