Pride Health is hiring a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Mount Kisco, NY 10549. This is a 20-weeks assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
Location: Mount Kisco, NY 10549
Duration: 20-weeks Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Payrate: $25-27/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30 am-5:30 pm (5 days/wk).
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for eye exams.
- Record medical and ocular history.
- Measure visual acuity and perform basic eye tests.
- Assist with diagnostic tests (tonometry, refraction, keratometry, etc.).
- Administer eye drops as directed by the ophthalmologist.
- Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments.
- Assist the ophthalmologist during procedures.
- Educate patients on eye care and post-visit instructions.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards.
Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or a GED.
- COA certificated.
- BLS is required.
