Position Summary:
The Pharmaceutical Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and cleaning pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment specifically used for Compression (Tablet Pressing), Granulation, or Encapsulation processes. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in at least one of these production areas and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Compression (tablet press), Granulation (wet/dry), or Encapsulation (capsule fillers) equipment according to batch records and SOPs.

Perform setup, changeovers, and cleaning of machinery in accordance with cGMP and safety guidelines.

Ensure products are manufactured according to quality specifications and within established timelines.

Accurately document production activities in batch records and logbooks.

Conduct in-process inspections (e.g., weight checks, hardness, thickness, capsule fill) and make necessary adjustments.

Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and other departments to resolve equipment and process issues.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training a plus.

Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience operating pharmaceutical Compression, Granulation, or Encapsulation machinery.

Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices.

Ability to read and interpret batch records, SOPs, and safety documentation.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
