Hours: 07:15 AM – 09:00 PM
Position Summary
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role supports adult and pediatric populations and requires flexibility to participate in on-call rotations, weekend coverage, and shift adjustments to support departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine, portable, and trauma radiographic examinations

Provide imaging services for adult acute care, adult outpatient, and pediatric outpatient populations

Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including PACS and C-Arm systems
-
Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality across a wide range of studies
-
Follow radiation safety standards, isolation precautions, and infection control protocols
-
Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday call rotations as required

Cover alternate shifts as needed to support staff vacations and departmental coverage

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and departmental policies
Required Certifications & Licensure

ARRT (R) Certification

AHA BLS Certification
-
Active State X-Ray Technologist License (Must be in hand at submission)

Imaging Experience Includes (but not limited to):

Abdomen (decubitus, supine/KUB, upright)

Chest (routine)

Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

Pelvis and AC joints

Skull and orbits
-
Upper extremities: shoulder, humerus, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand, fingers/thumb, clavicle, scapula

Lower extremities: hip, femur, knee, patella, tibia-fibula, ankle, calcaneus, foot, toes

Trauma imaging of upper and lower extremities
Additional Requirements
-
Local Candidates: Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
-
Time Off (RTO): Limited to a maximum of 3 days for the 13-week contract

Holidays: Must be available to work at least 1 of the 3 major holidays
