Hours: 07:15 AM – 09:00 PM

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role supports adult and pediatric populations and requires flexibility to participate in on-call rotations, weekend coverage, and shift adjustments to support departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, portable, and trauma radiographic examinations

  • Provide imaging services for adult acute care, adult outpatient, and pediatric outpatient populations

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including PACS and C-Arm systems

  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality across a wide range of studies

  • Follow radiation safety standards, isolation precautions, and infection control protocols

  • Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday call rotations as required

  • Cover alternate shifts as needed to support staff vacations and departmental coverage

  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and departmental policies

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • ARRT (R) Certification

  • AHA BLS Certification

  • Active State X-Ray Technologist License (Must be in hand at submission)

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Bedside and portable radiographic procedures

  • PACS workflow and image management

  • C-Arm procedures

  • Isolation precautions and trauma imaging

Imaging Experience Includes (but not limited to):

  • Abdomen (decubitus, supine/KUB, upright)

  • Chest (routine)

  • Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

  • Pelvis and AC joints

  • Skull and orbits

  • Upper extremities: shoulder, humerus, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand, fingers/thumb, clavicle, scapula

  • Lower extremities: hip, femur, knee, patella, tibia-fibula, ankle, calcaneus, foot, toes

  • Trauma imaging of upper and lower extremities

Additional Requirements

  • Local Candidates: Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

  • Time Off (RTO): Limited to a maximum of 3 days for the 13-week contract

  • Holidays: Must be available to work at least 1 of the 3 major holidays
