Company Overview:
Yonkers Honda is a family dealership that trains and develops employees in the auto industry. In the Parts Department, there are many opportunities to learn the foundation of the business, especially when working with our manager who has 20+ years of experience and knowledge! The Parts Specialist will work closely with our service advisors and technicians to ensure a smooth operations process for our customers.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Manage high volume parts requests by the service advisors and technicians
- Utilize Honda parts database to check availability and submit orders when necessary
- Provide estimates for advisors through an online platform
- Find parts in the stocking area (tires, brakes, etc) and give to technicians at the counter
- Maintain quick pace of updating computer systems
- Learn all the other areas of the Parts Department for cross-training and growth
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma (required)
- Driver's License (required)
- 1+ years working in the auto industry (preferred, but not necessary)
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong computer skills
