Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate lease documents, including leases, amendments, assignments, subleases, terminations, and other related documents.
- Counsel clients on commercial leasing matters, including lease interpretation, dispute resolution, and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Conduct due diligence reviews and provide strategic advice on potential real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with the broader legal team on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their interests are protected.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and changes in real estate law, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in the state.
- At least 5 years of experience as a real estate attorney, with a focus on commercial leasing.
- Proven experience in handling complex real estate transactions.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
