Medical Technologist – Upstate New York
Permanent Direct Hire Position

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to join a collaborative lab team serving a group of well-established hospitals in Upstate New York.

Position Details:

• Title: Medical Technologist

• Location: Upstate New York (multiple hospital settings)

• Schedule: 5x8s Off Shifts (Evenings/Nights)

• Rotation: Includes rotating weekends and holidays

• Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

About the Role:

As a Medical Technologist, you’ll perform essential clinical laboratory testing that supports diagnosis and treatment. You’ll work across all areas of the lab (chemistry, hematology, blood bank, microbiology) in a fast-paced environment with a highly supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform, analyze, and report lab tests with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment

• Ensure compliance with lab safety and quality protocols

• Collaborate with medical staff to support patient care decisions

Qualifications:

• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (or eligibility) required

• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field

• Strong multitasking, organizational, and analytical skills
