An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide dedicated support to a homebound student within a K-12 educational setting. This part-time, onsite position is located in New Rochelle, NY, where you will play a vital role in delivering tailored speech therapy to meet the unique needs of a student with multiple disabilities.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
• Experience with AAC devices
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Background in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech therapy services to one homebound student
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders using appropriate techniques
• Utilize AAC devices to enhance the student's communication skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
