Location: Melville, NY (On-site)
Compensation: $75K–$80K base
Reports to: Executive Management

About The Role
An established legal team in Melville is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with strong commercial real estate and litigation experience to support a fast-paced legal practice. This is an on-site role ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment, has a sharp eye for legal documentation, and can operate both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in supporting attorneys across the full lifecycle of litigation and commercial real estate matters. From document preparation and e-filing to organizing case files and managing correspondence, this role requires a hands-on legal professional with the judgment and precision to keep critical processes running smoothly.

What You'll Do
Litigation Support

  • Draft and proofread pleadings, discovery, motions, and appeals

  • Manage e-filing in both New York State and federal courts

  • Maintain organized case files and assist attorneys through all phases of litigation

Commercial Real Estate Support

  • Draft, edit, and proof legal documents and agreements

  • Assist in real estate closings and due diligence documentation

  • Coordinate administrative tasks for real estate matters

Administrative & Legal Operations

  • Support estate planning document preparation and related correspondence

  • Organize digital and physical files, ensuring accessibility and compliance

  • Collaborate on occasional marketing or client service initiatives

You'd Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • 3–10 years of relevant experience, especially in commercial litigation and real estate law

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

  • Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and court e-filing systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines

  • A proactive, detail-focused mindset and strong organizational skills

  • Associate's degree or equivalent legal education
