Towne Housing Real Estate is looking for an experienced and energetic apartment remodel contractor with experience in general residential rental remodels, clean outs, carpentry work and minor plumbing and electrical. We are a multi-site property management firm with over 1,000 apartments in the local WNY and South towns areas and growing fast!

The ideal applicant has a strong understanding of property systems such as basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems and skills. Rental unit turnover including painting, window installation, trim and other woodwork, flooring and more.

Our team members are our most important asset to our operation and our remodel contractors work to efficiently turnover newly vacated units in preparation to re-lease to new residents. We offer our team company vehicles, large tools and equipment as needed as well as user-friendly systems for time and task management to avoid daily office visits and to reduce commute times.

Requirements:

Job tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • On site work in residential units to remodel and make ready units for our in-house leasing team.
  • Review of all job scopes and work outlines to ensure the correct work is completed per approved client quotes.
  • Understanding of basic and advanced building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry to complete unit turns efficiently.
  • Strong carpentry skills including trim, cabinetry install, door and window installation, flooring and minor framing from time to time.
  • Regular supply house and material purchasing runs for materials needed on job on an as needed basis to ensure accurate purchasing and ordering of materials.
  • Take before and after pictures regularly and upload to time management system for company records and future reference.
  • Monitoring time on job sites and clocking in and out properly daily.
  • Communicate need to know information, large material and/or equipment needs, safety needs or concerns to on site leads and project managers so that your needs are met to be successful at your job.
