Location: Brewster, NY 10509
Pay: $45/hr
Hours: 40–50 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Start Date: December 8, 2025
End Date: Temp-to-Perm

Southeast Mechanical is seeking a highly experienced Shop Welder to join our team in Brewster, NY. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering strong weekly hours, excellent pay, and the chance to work with a respected mechanical contractor. We are looking for a welder who takes pride in their craft and performs at the highest professional standard.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be proficient in:
- Miller RPD and Pro Plus systems
- Certified 6G welding
- 6010 / 7018 wire feed
- MIG (RMD) welding
- Stick welding (6010 and 7018)
You will primarily weld carbon steel pipe ranging from 2.5 inches to 16 inches. Work is hands-on, precise, and centered around delivering strong structural and pressure-rated welds.
Pipefitting experience is preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.
Requirements
- Valid OSHA 10 certification
- Must pass Drug Screen and Background Check
- Proven experience welding carbon steel pipe
- Ability to read and follow weld procedures
- Strong understanding of shop safety and fabrication processes
