Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Cath Lab Tech to contribute expertise in imaging and cardiovascular procedures. Located in Cooperstown, NY, the role is contract-based, providing a structured 40-hour workweek organized as four 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cardiovascular interventional procedures by preparing and maintaining imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, who will operate X-ray equipment during procedures.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide timely support when needed.
- Provide holiday coverage, especially during two of the three winter holidays, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as an RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); New York State license required if ARRT certified.
- Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
- Preferred candidates will have 3+ years of operating experience in Obstetrics (OB).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment with keen attention to detail.
Schedule and Hours:
- 40 hours per week, scheduled as four 10-hour shifts.
- Rotating on-call responsibility.
- Holiday work commitment during winter holidays.
