Job Title: Mental Therapy Aide
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: Up to $28/hour
Schedule:

11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Some holidays required
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is hiring experienced Mental Therapy Aide to work in a Pediatric Bio Behavioral Health Unit within an acute care setting. Candidates must have prior psychiatric experience. Pediatric and inpatient experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect patient care

Monitor and record vital signs
-
Complete admission documentation
-
Assist with exams and procedures
-
Collect specimens and track intake/output
-
Transport patients within the facility
-
Support patients with hygiene and daily living activities (ADLs)
-
Maintain a safe and structured environment
-
Conduct safety checks during shifts
-
Intervene during crisis situations
-
Document and report patient progress
-
Use EMR systems for documentation
Requirements:
-
Current CPR Certification (Required)
-
Minimum 1 year experience (2+ years preferred)
-
Psychiatric experience required
-
Pediatric experience preferred
-
Inpatient experience preferred
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
