LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Engineering Technician role for our client in the Melville, NY area. This direct hire role focuses on research and development of projects including updates to existing materials. This hands-on, on-site role delves into product validation, hardware development and testing. This role requires experience in testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies.

This position will REQUIRES proven experience in RF devices and microprocessors and must have proven experience in working with RF Test equipment: network analyzers and spectrum analyzers preferably in a defense and/or military application.

Wage range: $35.00 - $39.00 hourly, depending upon experience.

Responsibilities

· Perform fundamental testing of electronic assemblies/sub-assemblies to determine if the specifications are met.

· Perform tests and troubleshoots equipment by setting up and using standard laboratory equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.

· Must work from schematics, specifications, sketches, or other authorized information to determine performance requirements of equipment being tested.

· Repair, adjust, and calibrate equipment to bring it within specification requirements.

· Create and maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years prior related experience.

· REQUIRED - RF Devices and Microprocessor experience required.

· REQUIRED – Experience in RF Test equipment: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc. required preferably in a defense and/or military application.

· Microsoft Office proficiency

Pay Details: $35.00 to $39.00 per hour
