Job Summary
We are currently looking for Automotive Technicians to join our Arcade and Marilla locations.
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the shops computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.
If you have a never give up attitude and are willing to problem-solve until you find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
- Conducting routine maintenance on vehicles aiming to prolong vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Repairing or replacing broken vehicle parts and fixing various fluid leaks (oil, coolant, etc.)
- Read manufacturers drawings and manuals.
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Basic computer and internet literacy and use computer diagnostic equipment.
- Communicating directly with the service advisor(s) or manager regarding the status of the service work.
- Continuously learning new technical information and repair techniques as required by the company.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the department manager/supervisor.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Skills/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
- Strong work ethic and act with integrity and professionalism.
- Possess a great, teamwork attitude and be goal driven with the desire to want to help others.

Automotive Alley opened its 1st location in 2014, in Arcade, NY, and is a full service auto repair facility that works on all vehicles, Custom-Classic-Foreign-Domestic. We are a family owned and operated business, and enjoy building relationships with each and every one of our clients. We recently purchased a 2nd location in Marilla, NY, which opened October 2023.
