Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
License Requirement: Active New York RN License (NY is not compact)

Scheduling & Contract Details

• 13-week assignment

• EPIC charting experience required

• RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission

• Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract

Unit Overview

Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for adult acute care patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical management. Specific unit assignment provided at time of offer.

Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:7

Required Clinical Skills

Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management

• Rapid Response and Code Team activation

IV Therapy / Phlebotomy

• Peripheral IV line care and management

Respiratory Care

• Nasal cannula

• Oxygen administration (face masks/tanks)

• Non-invasive airway management

Professional Practice

• Isolation precautions

• Infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (no pending licenses accepted)

• BLS Certification

• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months

• Ability to float within skillset as needed
