We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with experience in trust and estate litigation to join our growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take the next step in their career and work on meaningful, high-impact matters.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a solid litigation background with a strong understanding of contested probate and trust matters. You will handle a diverse caseload involving will contests, fiduciary disputes, accountings, and other related proceedings from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in trust and estate litigation, including will contests, accounting proceedings, and fiduciary disputes

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda

• Attend court appearances, depositions, and mediations

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to manage case strategy

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Admitted to practice in the New York State Bar

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in trusts and estates

• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to manage a caseload independently

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
