What You’ll Do

As a Parts Sales Manager, you’ll oversee the Parts Department to ensure profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will:

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and work daily to meet them
  • Hire, train, motivate, and monitor performance of department staff
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget
  • Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory to maintain profit goals
  • Lead monthly department meetings to share updates and opportunities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to parts employees
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Supervise purchasing, inventory, returns, shipping, and receiving processes
  • Establish pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer loyalty
  • Partner with Service and Body Shop Managers for efficient internal operations
  • Conduct in-person customer visits and develop sales promotions
  • Resolve customer complaints in line with company guidelines
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and promote a culture of safety

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent work experience
  • 4–6 years of related experience in parts management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present to groups

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (required)
  • Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification (required)
  • Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
  • Must regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
