Location:New York, NY

Schedule:Hybrid (23 days in-office)

Classification:Non-Exempt

Compensation:Up to $185,000 + comprehensive benefits


SourcePro Search is seeking an experienced and detail-orientedTrusts & Estates Paralegalto support a prestigious law firms New York-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a T&E paralegal who enjoys complex estate administration and values working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role offers a hybrid schedule and exposure to sophisticated trusts and estates matters for high-net-worth clients.


What Youll Do:

  • Manage all aspects ofestate administration, including preparing and filing probate/administration petitions, collecting and valuing assets, and processing bequests
  • Assist with the preparation ofestate planning documentssuch as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives
  • Prepare and filefederal and state estate tax returns, including IRS Form 706 and applicable state filings
  • FormLLCs, apply forEINs, and prepareReceipt and Release Agreements
  • Review and assist withfiduciary accountingsfor estates and trusts
  • Maintaincalendars and deadlinesfor estate administration and planning matters
  • Ensure efficient handling of filings with Surrogates Courts and other government agencies


What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experiencein a law firm setting
  • Deep knowledge ofestate administration, trust administration, and estate tax preparation
  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Officeand experience withOne Source (FPS),HotDocs, andSurrogates Courtelectronic filing systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact with attorneys, clients, and financial advisors
  • A team-oriented, proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
  • A high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all work
