Job Title: Lead Supervisor
Salary: 63,000 - 66,000 per year
Location: Mineola, NY

Position Summary:
The Lead Supervisor supports the Operations Manager and oversees site supervisors across multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring janitorial services meet quality, safety, and contractual standards. The Lead Supervisor provides leadership, accountability, training, and hands-on support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support site supervisors across assigned locations
- Address performance issues promptly and follow up to ensure corrective action
- Assist the Operations Manager with daily operations and special assignments
- Conduct regular inspections of janitorial work areas
- Review and verify supervisors’ inspections and performance assessments
- Ensure established procedures, policies, and safety protocols are understood and consistently followed
- Inspect equipment to ensure it is safe, properly maintained, and in good working condition
- Provide training to janitors and supervisors on cleaning standards, procedures, and safety requirements
- Serve as a hands-on cleaner and trainer when needed to demonstrate proper techniques
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Must be flexible with work locations
- Some later evening hours required approximately 1–2 times per month
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to our mission to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel between multiple locations
- Strong leadership, supervision, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of janitorial operations, equipment, and safety standards
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor both supervisors and frontline staff
- Willingness to be hands-on and lead by example
- 3 - 5 years of experience supervising teams in building services or related industry
- Must be comfortable using technology and learning new systems. Ability to support team members with managing technology.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform cleaning duties as needed
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift equipment or supplies up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
