Job duties:
- Performs routine inspection of raw material, in-process and finished products per established procedures
- Determines and documents disposition of materials (e.g., accept, reject) as they conform to product specifications
- Releases lots in inventory system
- Has authority to reject materials
- Inspects and determines disposition of returned materials
- May assist QC Lead with training and set up for QC staff
- Assists with material and product testing as necessary
- Ensures products are in appropriate warehouse locations based on acceptance status
- Performs physical movement of inventory as required
- Applies knowledge of good manufacturing and good record keeping practices on a daily basis
Qualification/Requirements:
- Experience required in Quality Control inspection
- Associates Degree or higher with1-3 years related experience
- Experience preferred with GMP production and/or quality management systems in medical device or pharmaceutical organization
- Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities and detail oriented
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook at minimum
- Good communication skills a must
