Position Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Probate & Estate Department. The ideal candidate has experience with EPTL and SCPA, and managing probate, estate administration, and trust matters. This role offers exposure to complex cases, mentorship opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage probate, estate administration, and trust matters
• Draft and file petitions, motions, and accountings
• Handle contested and uncontested proceedings
• Advise clients on fiduciary duties and estate settlement
• Represent clients in hearings and court appearances
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active New York Bar admission required
• 2–5 years’ experience in probate/estate matters preferred
• Strong knowledge of EPTL & SCPA
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
