A busy, high-energy truck and car shop in Farmingdale, NY, is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join their team. Since 1991, the shop has built a reputation for honesty, ethics, and top-tier service. It's not just about fixing vehicles — it's about keeping fleets moving, businesses running, and customers happy.
Advisors here handle 80–90 work orders at any given time, working closely with a tight-knit team of technicians and managers. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building customer trust, and keeping the shop running smoothly.
What They'll Do:

Be the trusted face customers rely on to guide them through repairs and service.

Juggle service orders, technician schedules, and customer expectations like a pro.

Present accurate estimates, achieve $150,000+ in advised retail sales per month (excluding warranty), and educate customers on maintenance and safety.

Coordinate with service managers, foremen, and technicians to keep workflow smooth.

Uphold a positive, ethical, and team-oriented environment while following shop processes.
What They Bring:

8+ years as an Automotive Service Advisor in a high-volume shop.

Knowledge of cars and light-duty trucks; experience with medium vehicles is a plus.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.

Proficiency with shop management software (Tekmetric preferred).
