2 yr old Start-up North Salem specialty mushroom farm needs a part-time person for flexible hours in 3-5 hour blocks 3-4 days a week. To do mushroom production: autobag “master mix” substrate into 10 lb bags; fold and place in autoclave sterilizers, partially fill bags after sterilization with mycelium; move bags to dark room (4 weeks); move colonized bags in dark room to fruiting chambers; harvest, weigh, invoice for customer deliveries. Flexibility from entrances with coded locks. Will train. $16 an hour to start. Just opened a second site and are aiming to sell on Amazon so great opportunity.
