Job DescriptionJobsRUs.com, is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for a CNC Machinist in Carthage, NY
$20 - $30 per hour
Monday-Friday 5am-5pm
Training Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
8 hour shifts
Experience:
-Minimum of 2 years experience as a CNC Machinist
Responsibilities
-Set up and operation of CNC Machining equipment to produce components 3efficiently and accurately.
-Perform in-process inspection of machined parts to verify conformance to customer requirements.
-Monitor parts as they are completed on the machine, and detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
-Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other production team members
-Communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
Technical Knowledge
-Experienced in manual and CNC type machining process using a wide variety of machine tools.
-Experience with CAD/CAM is a plus
-Working knowledge of a wide variety of inspection devices to inspect components produced
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Willingness to learn and at time teach others
Physical Requirements
-Ability to lift and move 50-75lbs
-Movements such as reaching, bending, and twisting to perform certain tasks
-Require manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
-Able to stand or site for long periods of time
