About Us
KidsUnited is an indoor soccer center for early childhood development. Our unique training method develops physical, personal, intellectual, and social skills in children from 1.5 to 9 years old. KidsUnited not only teaches children how to play soccer—it serves as a comprehensive early development system, using soccer as the main educational and delivery tool.
Position Overview
As a Coach at KidsUnited East Meadow, you’ll deliver structured, engaging, and age-appropriate soccer sessions that promote teamwork, coordination, and confidence. You’ll ensure each class is fun, safe, and supportive, while maintaining strong communication with parents and fellow staff members.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy classes for children ages 1.5–9 (max 12 per class)
- Follow and execute the KidsUnited curriculum and class structure
- Provide consistent feedback to parents on their child’s progress
- Communicate class goals and focus areas clearly to families
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during all sessions
- Maintain equipment and ensure the facility remains clean and organized
Experience & Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ months as an assistant youth coach or 1+ year working with children
- Enthusiastic, patient, and excellent at engaging with young kids
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus
- Background in soccer, physical education, or early childhood development preferred
