Experienced Credentialing Specialist – ABA Therapy (Multi-State Expansion)

About Us
We are a rapidly expanding ABA therapy organization headquartered in Brooklyn, NY, dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services to children and families. As we grow into all 50 states, we are seeking an Experienced Lead Credentialing Specialist to manage company and BCBA credentialing for each state entity.
This role is key to ensuring our providers and organizations remain fully enrolled and compliant with all Medicaid and commercial insurance requirements nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage company and BCBA-level credentialing and re-credentialing across multiple state entities.
- Prepare and submit payer enrollment applications, renewals, and documentation for Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.
- Maintain and update provider and company data in NPI, CAQH, NPPES, and payer portals.
- Track and monitor state-specific licenses, certifications, and insurance documents to ensure compliance.
- Research and stay current on credentialing requirements and payer policies in each state.
- Coordinate with internal teams and insurance representatives to resolve credentialing issues.
- Maintain detailed credentialing records and generate reports for leadership.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing (ABA or behavioral health experience strongly preferred).
- In-depth understanding of Medicaid and commercial payer credentialing processes.
- Proficiency with NPI, CAQH, NPPES and credentialing systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines across states.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
