Travel RN – Operating Room (CVOR Required)

Shift Time: Night, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

💰 $3,208 Weekly Gross (Travel) | $82/hr W2 (Local)

Ready to take your OR skills to one of the most dynamic healthcare environments in New York City? We’re hiring an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with CVOR experience for a high-impact travel assignment.

This role is ideal for confident OR nurses who thrive in fast-paced surgical settings and are comfortable handling both scrub and circulating responsibilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert nursing care in the operating room, including scrub and circulating duties
• Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes

Schedule:

• 34.5 hours per week
• 3 shifts per week
• 11.5 hours per shift

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience as both Scrub and Circulating RN
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
• CVOR experience is required

Education & Certifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN License (with NYSED primary source verification)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
