Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to complete assembly tasks.
  • Assemble, mount, and align components using hand and power tools; route and terminate wiring and cables.
  • Install hardware using bolts, rivets, screws, and other fastening methods.
  • Fabricate and install bus bars, including cutting, bending, grinding, and de-burring.
  • Inspect components during and after installation to identify damage or defects; report issues to supervisor.
  • Maintain required clearances and ensure proper use of rated conductors, wires, and hardware.
  • Follow instructions to complete a variety of mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
  • Support production audits and comply with quality and safety programs.
  • Clean and maintain work areas and tools daily.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, saws, drills, grinders, and punches.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing assembly tasks.
  • Understanding of basic electrical components such as switches, relays, fuses, capacitors, and grounding systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and quality requirements in a manufacturing environment.
