What You'll Do

  • Champion your clients: Deliver sophisticated legal representation for a diverse roster of clients before the NY Workers' Compensation Board—handling high-value, complex claims that demand strategic thinking and persuasive advocacy.
  • Own your caseload: Manage all phases of litigation, from intake through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, settlements, and appeals.
  • Leverage technology: Lead and participate in virtual hearings, staying ahead of industry trends and ensuring seamless, effective advocacy in both in-person and remote settings.
  • Mentor and collaborate: Serve as a trusted resource for junior attorneys and legal staff, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive firm growth: Contribute to business development initiatives, help refine best practices, and play an active role in shaping the firm's reputation in the Manhattan market.

What Sets You Apart

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active New York State Bar admission.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience representing clients in workers' compensation matters, preferably with a focus on complex or high-stakes cases.
  • Demonstrated mastery of New York workers' compensation law, procedures, and evolving regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional litigation, negotiation, and client anagement skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Experience with virtual hearings and digital case management platforms.
