Admissions Representative – NYC
A private career college with multiple campuses is seeking Admissions Representatives for its Manhattan, NY location. The ideal candidate will be highly energetic, goal-oriented, and possess strong phone and interview skills. The institution is committed to continuous improvement, focusing on academic excellence, student services, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct personal interviews, phone calls, and email/text correspondence to identify prospective students and assess their educational interests and needs.
- Assist students throughout the admissions process.
- Deliver engaging presentations to introduce and promote programs to prospective students.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all callers and visitors.
- Actively participate in all recruiting activities.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred (experience may be considered in place of a degree).
- Positive and upbeat personality.
- Experience in admissions, recruiting, or consultative sales is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with a diverse student base.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computers, database entry, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain organization.
- Availability for day, evening, and some weekend hours.
