Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Licensed by the NY State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- 1-2 years of PT experience preferred; new grads welcome
Essential Functions:
- Perform thorough clinical evaluations utilizing functional whole body movement assessment and provide targeted interventions to address functional impairments
- Provide ultimate patient experience by creating positive energetic atmosphere, establishing connection/engagement where patient feels immensely cared for and delivering on clinical treatment and following up as need with referring physicians, imaging, referrals
- Maintain daily electronic medical records and billing
- Work closely with a dynamic, motivated team of physical therapists and refer patients as appropriate to expedite healing and recovery.
- Communicate with referring physicians and other treatment providers regarding PT care and treatment plan
