Location: Columbia County, NY

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-call rotation every 4 weeks'

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Make a Difference Behind the Scenes

Coarc is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Worker to help keep our homes and facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for the people we support-people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, your skills will directly contribute to maintaining a high quality of life for others.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and upkeep of Coarc's buildings, homes, and grounds.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
  • Complete routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs.
  • Keep walkways, driveways, and entrances safe and clear year-round.
  • Participate in groundskeeping tasks like mowing, trimming, and general landscaping.
  • Assist with construction projects and home modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and inspections.
  • Be part of an on-call rotation every 4 weeks for after-hours or emergency support.
  • Support and mentor individuals with disabilities in work-based roles when needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Trade school or associate's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance or related trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
  • Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical diagrams.
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
