We are seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, monitoring calendar, meeting with clients, etc.
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of Estate Planning directives and witness in-person signings of Estate Planning documents
- Preparation of deeds and accompanying real estate transfer documents
- Draft correspondence, gathering/identifying asset information, and preparing applications in accordance with Community and Chronic Medicaid
- Record and store client information, maintaining case management system and files.
Qualifications:
- Associate/Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification
- Prior work experience/law firm experience is preferred. Prior Estate Planning or Elder Law experience is a plus
- Proficieny with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with CLIO or other case management program experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, professional writing skills, and the ability to learn is required
