Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time contract position is for a Speech Language Pathologist providing services to K-12 students within a school setting. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year. Working with a diverse caseload, the role requires delivering individualized speech therapy to support students communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York State
- SLP certification including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) highly preferred
- Experience working in school settings or during Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) beneficial
- Ability to design and implement effective speech and language interventions for a K-12 population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct therapy services to support speech, language, and communication development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
